Malchut is the seventh of the middot and is seen as ‘separate’ from the other six in that it relates to taking the other six and putting them into practice.
The humility of Hod accepts that, “everything is in the hands of heaven,’ formulates a “Torah response,’ and puts that into action.
This directly relates to a well-known verse:
“Yes, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
