“Love the Lord your G-d with; Your heart, mind and strength.”
– Deuteronomy. 6:5
You need to have ‘pure faith’ in these areas – no doubt, as doubt is Amalek. (Amalek = 240 = Safek/Doubt)
There are three levels of Amalek listed in Kol Hator by the Vilna Gaon and these align with Deuteronomy 6:5:
a) Heart = your own Yetzer Hara (evil inclination)
b) Mind = spiritual entities (principalities and powers)
c) Strength = ungodly people and things in the world
Leave no room for Amalek/Doubt at any of the three levels.
How to deal with things at these levels?
a) The level of heart is that of Prayer and Meditation
b) The level of mind is that of Torah study and learning
c) The level of strength is that of acts of kindness in making connections to anyone regardless of ‘where they are at’
In turn, these can help heal you in the areas of:
a) Heart = Anger and other negative emotions
b) Mind = Temptation of all kinds, especially sexual
c) Strength = Depression, in doing things for others, we elevate elevate our souls
This business model for risk management is not far off, with a slight realignment:
Strategic = Mind
Tactical = Heart
Operational = Strength
